After graduation, he moved back to Denver to pursue a career in the health and fitness field. Jionni enjoys working with a variety of clients, helping them reach their fitness goals, and has a passion for helping others discover all they can accomplish. Jionni trains from experience. When he was 21 he decided to make a change in his lifestyle, and went from 265 to 187 pounds in two-years' time. He continues to share his experience and what he's learned with others, working as a certified personal trainer and group exercise instructor. Jionni lives by the mantra "Those who think they can't, won't succeed; and those who think they can, will achieve." "Jionni is one of four certified personal trainers employed at the Buckley Fitness Center. He conducts one-on-one fitness training sessions, provides equipment orientations and teaches a variety of group exercise classes that are a key part of the fitness center programs, including the Fitness Improvement Program. Jionni also instructs an exercise class specifically for retirees, which has increased in participants significantly in the past few months. Jionni assists with fitness events, and has been an important part of the 2015 Buckley Dash to Distance Race series.
