Born and raised in Albaquerque, New Mexico, Cordova served in the Air Force from 2003 to 2007, and has worked with the 460th Civil Engineer Squadron at Buckley Air Force Base for the past four years. He enjoys playing basketball and spending time with his family, including his 2-year-old son.

Cordova has been a vital asset to the 460th CES backflow preventative maintenance program, testing and certifying 115 devices around the installation and ensuring total security of the base potable water supply from direct and indirect cross contamination. He also oversees and processes timely record accounting for each individual device to the city of Aurora, negating $115K in fines and penalties. As a prior fuels technician in the Air Force, he is a valuable addition to the fuels section,  filling a 120-day period as a subject matter expert and taking care of prefentative maintenance and integrity of Bldg. 1054, the base bulk fuel yard and fuel delivery system.
