Team Buckley members who wish to vote in the 2014 general election need to do so before the deadline of Nov. 4.

To vote, visit the Federal Voting Assistance Program website and follow the directions below:

For those who have not yet requested an absentee ballot, select the desired state from the drop-down menu and register to vote. Then, request an absentee ballot or update the voter information to start the process of completing a Federal Postcard Application.

For those who have already requested a state ballot but have not received one, use the Federal Write-In Absentee Ballot as a backup ballot. The online assistant will pre-populate your FWAB with candidate lists depending on your Congressional District. To begin this process, select the desired state from the drop-down menu, and then select the 'get my ballot' option.

If a voter receives a state ballot after submitting the FWAB, then need to fill it out and return the state ballot. Votes will only be counted once.

The Military Postal Service Agency provides free expedited ballot delivery and ballot tracking for service members and their families. A Label 11-DoD will be placed on the ballot envelope that can be tracked. To track the status of a ballot, visit the United States Postal Service website and enter the number on the Label 11-DoD.

Mail delivery times vary and it may take longer than expected for ballots to get from the current location to the desired state. To view estimated delivery times, view the mailing dates document.
