AF promotes 62 Team Buckley members to staff sergeant

BUCKLEY AIR FORCE BASE, Colo. -- During the July 10 promotion release, 62 Team Buckley members were notified of selection to staff sergeant.

Of more than 36,739 eligible senior airmen, only 9,403 have been selected for promotion, with a selection rate of 25.59 percent.

The average overall score for those selected was 291.91. Selectees' average time in grade was 2.03 years and time in service was 4.51 years. Their average enlisted performance report score was 132.25 and the average decoration score was 0.99. Selectees' average promotion fitness examination score was 62.80.

Selectee promotions will begin in September, in order of promotion sequence numbers.

Selections are tentative until the data verification process is complete, which is no later than 10 days after the promotion release date. Personnel officials will notify Airmen, via military personnel sections, if their selection is in question.

The list will be accessible on the Air Force Personnel Center public news page and social media sites, the Air Force Personnel Services website, and the Air Force Portal.
