AF promotes 17 of Buckley's finest to master sergeant

BUCKLEY AIR FORCE BASE, Colo. -- During the 2014 promotion release May 22, 17 Team Buckley members were notified of selection to master sergeant.
Congratulations to the following technical sergeants:

Julio Cedeno - 460th Security Forces Squadron
Jeffrey Dausey - 460th Security Forces Squadron
Tyrone Clark - 2nd Space Warning Squadron
Casey Hilburn - 2nd Space Warning Squadron
Quentin Manson - 2nd Space Warning Squadron
Joseph Craig - 460th Space Communications Squadron
Scott Springer - 460th Contracting Flight
Aerospace Data Facility-Colorado
566th Intelligence Squadron

Of more than 22,000 eligible technical sergeants, only 4,073 have been selected for promotion, with a selection rate of 17.81 percent.
The average overall score for those selected was 352.55. Selectees' average time in grade was 4.41 years and time in service was 15.16 years. Other score averages included 133.98 for enlisted performance reports, 11.66 for decorations and 69.13 for the Promotion Fitness Exam.
Selectee promotions will begin in June, in order of promotion sequence numbers.
Selections are tentative until the data verification process is complete, which is no later than 10 days after the promotion release date. Personnel officials will notify Airmen, via military personnel sections, if their selection is in question.
