CNA program available for spouses of active-duty AF

The Buckley Airman & Family Readiness Center has been awarded the 2014 Air Force Aid Society Spouse Employment Training Program Grant.

The grant offers four spouses of active-duty Air Force members the opportunity to become certified nursing aides. The CNA program is hosted at Pickens Technical College, which is located approximately a mile from base.

The nine-week course will be in session 5 - 9 p.m. Monday through Wednesday, March 17 to May 13. There will be clinical rotations on selected Saturdays throughout the semester.
