Journey assesses personal interests, renders career guidance Published Nov. 1, 2013 By Airman 1st Class Samantha Saulsbury 460th Space Wing Public Affairs BUCKLEY AIR FORCE BASE, Colo -- The Kuder Journey is a free service provided to active-duty, Guard and Reserve service members offering reliable career and college planning, while providing development experience. The tailored career guidance starts with assessing what skills or work values each individual is confident doing, along with their interests and what is important to them. While these assessments don't define a person or their career, they are valuable in helping to narrow the search and bring forth options not previously considered. The Journey guides service members through a step-by-step process, allowing users to complete five steps in any order to meet their immediate needs. The five steps are: assessments, occupations, education and financial aid, job search tools, and jobs. Service members can access the Journey lifetime resource anywhere there is internet connection. The account will never expire, as long as the member is on active duty. Service members can register for their free account in less than 30 minutes by following the steps below: 1.
