What he likes most about his job: Constantly being supported by extremely diverse peers able to work through dynamic situations. There is always something new to learn about my job, leaders, and peers. My experience in the Strategic Missile Warning mission has been incredible!
His goal in the AF: Develop my leadership skills and continue to grow my knowledge and apply it to all aspects of my life. Increase my communication and management skills to eventually start my own business. Transition from Active Duty to the National Guard as an Explosive Ordinance Disposal (EOD) journeyman and continue my service to the nation until retirement.
Hobbies: Running, windsurfing, archery, snowboarding, mountain climbing
Unique fact about him: While in college at the City University of New York, I studied abroad for 4 months in Nanjing, China
SSgt(s) Matthew Greger continuously demonstrates unwavering commitment to the Air Force and his peers in both his unit and personal life. He single-handedly maintained the Buckley Against Drunk Driving Program to ensure the safety of all base personnel. SSgt(s) Greger consistently strives to increase his knowledge and skills in all aspects of the space mission. His candid personality and positive attitude have allowed him to earn both the respect and friendship of members across the base.
