Senior Airman Michael Ngo, 460th Security Forces Squadron, searches a commercial vehicle June 5, 2013, at the Mississippi Gate on Buckley Air Force Base, Colo. In order for any commercial vehicle to gain access to a military installation, there must be a detailed vehicle search. Ngo’s daily duties are to secure the gates, inspect commercial vehicles that enter the base, relay information from the driver such as license, registration and work orders, and also verify if individuals can gain access to the installation.
