75 veterans take trip to Washington D.C.

Master Sgt. Peggee Larkin, 566 Intelligence Squadron first sergeant, talks with a female World War II veteran before she boards a plane May 3, 2015, at Denver International Airport in Denver. The veteran, along with 75 other World War II, Vietnam, Korea, terminally ill and Purple Heart recipient veterans, took a trip to Washington D.C. to visit military memorials. The overnight trip was hosted by the Honor Flight of Northern Colorado and is offered every year free of charge for the vets through donations from the public.
