Team Buckley honored the 66th Air Force birthday during an Air Force Ball Sept. 27 at the Renaissance Hotel in Denver.

"The Air Force Ball was awesome," said Col. Dan Wright, 460th Space Wing commander. "We celebrated the heritage of the Air Force and Buckley Air Force Base."

More than 350 people participated in the celebration. The night's events included dinner, a POW/MIA observance, a brief history of Buckley and a speech by retired Chief Master Sgt. of the Air Force David J. Campanale.

"Tonight went off very well," said 1st Lt. Tyrone Martinez, 566th Intelligence Squadron mission manager and Air Force Ball Committee president. "Because all of the hard work everyone put in, I feel like it was a very successful event."
