Inaugural Buckley Ball

The inaugural Buckley Ball was held at the Denver Center for the Performing Arts, in Denver, Colorado, April 6, 2024.

Featuring formal ceremonies and entertainment, the Buckley Ball provided attendees with opportunities to connect and strengthen bonds. Testimonials from participants underscored the sense of camaraderie experienced throughout the evening, highlighting the event's role in promoting internal cohesion.

“The Buckley Ball represents connection - a core value of the Space Force,” Capt. Samantha Burns, executive assistant to the Director of National Security Administration and Central Security Service, Colorado, remarked, “While also recognizing that the Buckley community is far more than just Guardians.”

As reflections on the Buckley Ball continue, its impact on military unity remains clear. The event has left a lasting impression on attendees, emphasizing the importance of such gatherings in strengthening the fabric of the armed forces.

“The inaugural Buckley Ball was a resounding success and I’m immensely proud of the team that initiated this new tradition,” Col. Heidi Dexter, Space Base Delta 2 commander, recalled, “It was a night that showcased the unity and camaraderie within our community, leaving us with lasting memories.”
