Team Buckley to celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month Published Sept. 11, 2014 By Airman 1st Class Samantha Saulsbury 460th Space Wing Public Affairs BUCKLEY AIR FORCE BASE, Colo.- -- Team Buckley will celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month Sept. 15 through Oct. 15 by hosting different activities to honor the Hispanic Americans who have positively enriched and influenced the nation. The celebration is set to kick off 3 p.m. Sept. 15 at the Leadership Development Center with local guest speakers, dancing, music and food. The Buckley World Cup, a 3-on-3 indoor soccer tournament, is scheduled Sept. 26. A total of 16 teams are needed with 3 to 4 members on each team. Each team will represent one of the 22 Hispanic countries. To sign up, call 720-847-5808 by Sept. 22.
