Buckley celebrates Black History Month
Buckley Air Force Base kicked off Black History Month with guest speaker Lt Col (Ret) Vorry Moon, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Hubert L. “Hooks” Jones Chapter of Tuskegee Airmen, Inc. in Aurora, Colorado, Feb. 6, 2018, on Buckley AFB, Colorado. Moon was commissioned into the Air Force in the late 1960’s and served as a pilot during Vietnam. As an African American, Moon has experienced first-hand the progress that has been made over the years in regards to race relations within the United States.
